Google AI Pro Free Access for Jio Users has been officially announced through a new partnership between Google and Reliance. Eligible Jio users can enjoy 18 months of free AI tools including Gemini, Veo video generation, Nano Banana image creator, and 2TB Google Cloud storage.

Google and Reliance Announce Joint Venture in India
On Thursday, Google and Reliance declared a joint venture in India. Under the partnership, the two firms will make Google AI Pro that costs 35,100 available in the Gemini app, free of charge during 18 months to the potential Jio clients. Google AI Pro plan has increased capabilities of creating images using Nano Banana and videos using Veo 3.1 models. Gemini Enterprise is also coming to Indian organisations through Reliance and Google. Google Cloud will be the go-to-market strategic partner of Reliance Intelligence in the country. Reliance will also have access to the Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) of Google Cloud.
Google and Strategic Partnership with Reliance
Under the strategic partnership between Reliance Intelligence and Google, the Californian technology giant declared that it will provide the Google AI Pro plan, which in India costs approximately Rs. 35,100, free to the users of Jio Unlimited 5G plan over the period of 18 months. The firm will first implement the initiative to the qualified users between the age of 18 to 25. Other potential users will also have access to the plan later.
The Jio users with the Google AI Pro plan will have more access to the Google Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model within the Gemini app, as well as access to higher levels of creating images with the Nano Banana model and creating videos with the Veo 3.1 model. Furthermore, it will also provide the users with an enlarged access to the AI research tool called NotebookLM which belongs to Google.
Additional Benefits and Strategic Expansion
Jio users who are eligible will also be provided with 2TB of Google Cloud storage, which can be accessed in Google Photos, Gmail, Google Drive, and WhatsApp applications on Android backup. They are able to subscribe to the Google AI Pro plan using the MyJio application in their mobile phones.
Besides the Google AI Pro plan, the Indian conglomerate also declared that Google cloud is now the go to market strategic partner of Reliance intelligence, introducing Gemini Enterprise into India.
Access to Google Cloud TPUs for Advanced AI Training
Added to this, the new collaboration of Reliance with Google Cloud will also enable the company to reach out to TPUs of the US-based tech giant. This, according to the company, will enable organisations to train and deploy more complex, larger AI models in India.
